Greetings,

We are pleased to announce a recent job opening at TOF. We are looking for a Land Steward to join our team, in this time of deep care for the land in the wake of The Thomas Fire. See the job description below, and please share with anyone who might be a good fit for the position.

We are also excited to announce that the Center for Employment Training (CET) grant-funded work crew has been extended into 2019. We are thrilled to have this essential support for our recovery, and to watch the gifts flow back and forth between the place and those who have shown up to engage deeply in stewardship of the land.

And if you are looking for a way to get involved yourself, we will be ramping back up with the Volunteer Days of Service in the spring. These are a wonderful opportunity to connect with TOF community, and the land itself, in service. Last year, more than 700 volunteers helped us in the initial clean-up of the land, including some who have been involved with the organization since its inception, and some who had just set foot on the land for the first time. It has proven a powerful community practice in a time of so much change for the ridge, and the region. The land is particularly lush right now, with all the winter rains. We hope you can join us. See dates below and on the website.

With gratitude,
