APRIL 3, 2018 Update #6
Dear Friend of The Ojai Foundation,
The video above celebrates all the work that has happened up at The Ojai Foundation since the devastation of the Thomas Fire. We have made tremendous progress, and have experienced the deep value of community and of our shared values and practices. Yet, there is still so much work to be done. Last month we launched RECOVER & REIMAGINE, a campaign to raise the funds needed to get us through this phase of clean-up, recovery and beginning anew.
We are thrilled to announce that we are more than three quarters of the way to our $600,000 fundraising goal! We are asking for YOUR help in getting us all the way there.
Our intention is to meet our goal by May 1, 2018.These emergency funds will help us to complete debris removal and clean-up, to restore basic infrastructure, to steward the regeneration of the land, and to host ongoing visioning and designing for the future. Click HERE to view a list of needs and costs during this phase. We are immensely grateful for how our global community has stepped up to support the recovery effort in this time of great need and tremendous opportunity. We hope you will step up as well. No gift is too small — or too large.
Will you donate what you can today, to help us reach our goal?
Just as the emerald shoots and mustard flowers burst through the ash, blanketing the hillsides in color, we feel the expanded possibility to begin again. With strengthened partnerships and abundant support, we are excited to carry forward this beautiful dream in service to this magnificent Earth.
Thank you in advance for your contribution.
Your generosity and support make a difference.
With Gratitude,
Executive Stewardship Circle (ESC)
